Goleman rallied for three runs in the bottom of the sixth to stave off an upset bid by Miami Christian to win 3-2 on Monday in a non-district game. Mario Lopez struck out nine in a complete-game performance for the Gators (18-2), who won their fifth in a row. Thomas Hernandez scored and drove in a run, and Brandon Paez had an RBI. Juan Lugo and
Jeremie Garcia also scored.

Jorden Gross pitched a three-hitter to lead Miami Country Day to a 2-0 win over Ransom Everglades. Griffin Sennet doubled and drove in a run, and Riley Weiss added a hit for the Spartans (9-10), who won their third in a row.
