Key West showed Royal Palm Beach that they take their baseball seriously down in the Keys. Here’s a look at their matchup among the games played Friday…

Key West 11, Royal Palm Beach 1 – The Conchs improved their record to 4-0 with an impressive showing against the Wildcats. Gus Galo went 3-for-3 with three runs and an RBI, and Brandon Presley threw a complete game, allowing only one hit. The two teams will face off again on Saturday night.

Doral 7, Reagan 3 – The Firebirds evened their record at 2-2-1 with a win over the Bison. Andy Hernandez went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, while Chris Hernandez added two hits, two runs and an RBI. Cris Martinez also had two hits for Doral.
