Miami Sunset 5, TERRA Institute 4 (9 innings) – Michael Paez earned the win and delivered the game-winning hit in the bottom of the ninth to lift the Knights (10-2) past the Wolves (6-6). Sunset is 4-1 in its past five.


St. Brendan 8, Barron Collier 7 – Max Guzman went 3-for-4 and Henry Knez went 2-for-4 for the Sabres (5-6), winners of four in a row. Gerson Sotolongo hit a two-run home run.


Miami Springs 5, Westland Hialeah 3 – Juan Kirk went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Spartans (7-5). Emmanuel Alfaro went 1-for-4 with two RBIs, and Madison Kreitner went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and an RBI. Dylan Cart was the winning pitcher.


Miami Brito 8, Highlands Christian 0 – JC Milan went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs, and Edberg Dominguez went 3-for-5 with two runs. Savian Fernandez went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.


Miami Jackson 15, Miami Christian 3 – Juan Nunez struck out 10, walked two and allowed three earned runs to lead the Generals (4-8), who have won two in a row. Jomison Alvarez went 1-for-3 with a home run, Juan Patricio went 2-for-4, and Bryan Ruiz tripled and walked twice.


Southwest Miami 11, Coral Gables 1 – Alex Perera went 1-for-2 with two runs and three RBIs to pace the Eagles (5-4-1). Luis Aviles and Luis Cuevas each had a hit and two RBIs.
