Belen Jesuit, 16 Homestead 0 – Danny Parets had seven strikeouts in four innings and David Guevara had a double and three RBIs for the Wolverines (7-3). Ryan Rodriguez-Mena was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs and Christian del Castillo was 2-for-3 with two runs.

Southwest Miami 8, Braddock 7 (12 innings) – Alex Perera pitched six relief innings before hitting the winning home run to lift the Eagles (3-4-1, 2-3-1) in District 8A-15. Hernen Sardinas, Luis Aviles and Carlos Pena all had three hits and Luis Gutierrez had a home run and two RBIs. Willie Padron had three hits for the Bulldogs (2-6, 1-5).

Killian 4, Varela 3 – Mike Perez was 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and his county-leading 16th RBI to lead the Cougars (9-2-1, 5-2) in District 8A-16. Ryan Sabbag had an RBI double and Gil Polanco was 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and a run. The Vipers are 3-4 in the district and 5-5 overall.

Hialeah 6, Dr. Krop 5 – Alexis Herrera tossed a complete-game and recorded 10 strikeouts for the Thoroughbreds (7-3, 4-1) in a District 8A-13 game. Nestor Cortes was 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and Robert Carmona was 3-for-3. The Lightning fall to 3-5, 2-4.

Brito 7, Miami Christian 1 – Diosvani Boulet was 3-for-3 with two runs to lead the Panthers (7-1) to 2-1 in District 2A-15. Andy Herrera was 2-for-2 with two runs and a stolen base and Julio Gonzalez went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run. The Victors are 2-5, 0-4.

Miami Springs 10, Miami Beach 0 – Nick Bello earned the win with four and two-third innings to lift the Hawks (6-4, 5-1) in District 8A-14. Juan Kirk was 2-for-3 with two runs and Ronald Acosta went 2-for-2 with two RBIs, two runs and also walked twice to reach base four times.

Westland Hialeah 12, Norland 2 – Carlos Ruiz was 4-for-5 with four RBIs for the Wildcats (6-3), who improved to 5-2 in District 6A-16. The Vikings are 3-7 and 1-7 in the district.

Hialeah Gardens 11, Jackson 1 – Ryan Perez had two doubles and three RBIs and Richard Abreu had two doubles and two runs to lead the Gladiators (5-6). Alejandro Piedra had five strikeouts on the mound, Pedro Ravelo was 2-for-2 with two runs and Peter Rodriguez was 2-for-4. The Generals are 2-8.

TERRA 7, Doral Academy 6 – Yasser Santana was 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs and Alexis Valladares went 2-for-4 for the Wolves (6-4), who improved to 3-0 in District 4A-15. Nick Lopez was 1-for-3 with three RBIs. The Firebirds are 6-5-1, 2-3.

Coral Shores 9, Ransom Everglades 4 – David Lanster went 2-for-3 with a home run for the Raiders (4-5). Ryan Moralejo had a double and a run and Caleb Bush was 1-for-1 with a walk and a run. Kalen Carter earned his first win of the year for the Hurricanes (3-5).

Mourning 11, Northwestern 1 – Chris Contreras tossed a no-hitter and Alex Vallejo had a three-run home run and a grand slam home run to lead the Sharks (2-6, 2-5) in District 6A-16. Marc Evedon was 2-for-3 with two runs and Ethan Cohen was 2-for-3 with a run.
