Miami Springs 13, CD Hylton 7 – Nick Bello struck out five in five innings for the Golden Hawks (9-7) in the Sunshine Classic. Gabriel Gail went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, and Juan Kirk went 2-for-5 with three RBIs.

Hialeah 5, Battleground Academy 4 – Nestor Cortes went 2-for-3, and Mauricio Cajuso went 2-for-3 with an RBI as the Thoroughbreds (12-3) won their eighth in a row and second in the Sunshine Classic.

Westwood Christian 3, Calvary Christian 1 – Danny Garcia pitched six innings, allowing two hits and one earned run while walking two and striking out nine to pace the Warriors (11-3) in the 4Him Classic at Calvary Christian. Luis Diaz went 1-for-3 with a run and a double, and Miguel Gonzalez went 2-for-3. Adam Quinones went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Danny Fernandez had an RBI sac fly.

Coral Gables 11, East Lawrence, Ala. 0 – Tyler Santana allowed one hit in his four innings on the mound as the Cavaliers (11-6) who are competing in Alabama this week. Coco Montes went 2-for-2 with a run, and Alex Pinero went 2-for-4 with a run and RBI.

Ransom Everglades 12, Archbishop Curley 1 – Royeven Armas struck out nine and allowed no hits in four innings, and he also went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for the Raiders (6-8). Garrett Rubin went 2-for-4 with a run, two RBIs and a stole base. Jimmy Gutierrez went 2-for-2 with a run, RBI RBI and stolen base, and Ilan Lindenfield went 1-for-3 with two runs, and RBI and a stolen base.

Mater Academy 13, Hialeah Gardens 12 – Peter Rodriguez went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs, and Richard Abreu, Pedro Ravelo, Chris Clara and Ricky Jimenez had two hits each for the Gladiators (7-9).

Monsignor Pace 7, Mater Lakes Academy 3 – Alfreddi Ramos went 2-for-4 for the Bears (11-2-1).

Ferguson 13, American 6 – Chris Bec went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, and Javier Valdes also went 3-for-4 with a double and RBI for the Falcons (11-4). Asniel Rodriguez went 3-for-5 with four RBIs. Anthony Tucker went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored. Chris Medina went 2-for-4 with a double and three runs scored. Sergio Ramos pitched two innings of relief to earn his second win of the seasonm allowing no earned runs.

Belen Jesuit 2, Western 0 – William Fabra struck out 12 in a complete-game performance for the Wolverines in the Selective Recruiting Invitational.
