Ferguson 1, Southwest 0 – Luis Aviles went 2-for-4, and Carlos Pena and Luis Gutierrez added hits for the Eagles (12-8), who are 4-1 in their past five games.


Miami Sunset 13, Coral Reef 9 – William Weiss went 3-for-4 with four RBIs, and Nicholas Machado went 3-for-4 with three runs for the Knights (15-7) in an 8A-15 matchup. Jeremy Sinski (RBI) and Michael Paez (three runs) went 2-for-3 with Alex Bravo went 2-for-5 with an RBI.


American 6, Westwood Christian 1 – Luis Padron and Luis Diaz each went 2-for-3 for Warriors (11-5-1). Robert Hernandez drove in Miguel Gonzalez for Westwood’s only run.


Palmetto 10, Hialeah Gardens 0 – Michael Wall went 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI, and Kieran Foreman went 2-for-2 with two runs for the Panthers (12-9).


Southridge 5, Mourning Senior 1 – Osvaldo Garcia threw a compete-game three-hitter with four strikeouts to lead the Spartans (10-9). Octavio Mirabal went 2-for-3 with two RBI, and Josten Heron went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Andrew Velez led Mourning, going 2-for 3.


Miami Springs 13, Champagant 3 – Juan Kirk had three hits and drove in three runs, and Madison Kreitner went 2-for-3 with four RBIs for Springs (12-10). Pedro Rivera went 1-for-3 with three RBIs.
