Miami Beach 3, Mater Academy East 1 – Jonathan Gonzalez tossed a complete-game one-hitter with nine strikeouts as the Hi-Tides (2-14) upset the Scorpions (10-5). Yovani Sosa went 2-for-3 with a double and a run, and Trent Bryan singled and scored.
Doral Academy 3, Mater Lakes Academy 2 – Carlos Pino and Ryan Gronlier drove in runs to pace for the Firebirds (11-11-1), who scored two in the bottom of the seventh to win. Anthony Rondon and Jonathan Lorenzo had two hits each for the Bears (14-6-1).
Miami Jackson 16, Carol City 0 – Michelangelo Penas went 3-for-3 with two home runs and four stolen bases, and Ibrahim Silwany also had three hits and four stolen bases for the Generals (8-10). Jomilson Alvarez homered.
Mater Academy 10, Hialeah-Miami Lakes 0 – Willie Abreu went 3-for-3 with three runs and three RBIs, and Angel Ortiz went 2-for-3 with a run and RBI for the Lions (20-2). Danny Reyes went 1-for-2 with two RBIs and a run.
South Miami 3, Coral Park 1 – Ricky De Armas went 2-for-4 with a run, and Armani Medina and Ismael Martinez drove in runs for the Cobras (8-13).
Ferguson 6, Miami Senior 1 – Chris Medina went 1-for-4 with a three-run double, and Daniel Rivero went 2-for-3 with a triple to help the Falcons improve to 13-7. Carlos Tapia and Asniel Rodriguez both went 1-for-2. Andy Garcia pitched two hitless innings of relief to earn his first win of the season. Chris Ramirez threw three scoreless innings and struck out three.
LaSalle 11, Ransom Everglades 0 – Anders Gutierrez fired a no-hitter, and Mike Avila went 3-for-3 with four RBIs for the Royal Lions (). Elier Rodriguez went 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs, and Nick Canino went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI.
Southwest Miami 3, Braddock 2 – Luis Aviles stole two bases in the bottom of the sixth to break a 2-2 tie. Robert Cancio struck out 10.
Belen Jesuit 14, Homestead 2 – William Fabra struck out 11 in five innings, and David Guevara went 2-for-3 with a grand slam and five RBIs to pace the Wolverines (16-5). Ryan Rodriguez Mena went 2-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs, and Christian del Castillo went 2-for-3 with an RBI and run.
