Miami Brito 12, Redlands Christian Academy 0 – Richard Sotolongo struck out eight of nine batters he faced and Marco Bolano had a three-RBI single and a run to lead the Panthers (20-4). Gilbert Gil was 2-for-2 and Savian Fernandez reached base four times and had two RBIs. Brito now awaits the winner of the game between Westwood Christian and Colonial Christian.

Miami Sunset 8, South Dade 4 – Austin Comesanas recorded seven strikeouts in a complete-game effort to lead the Knights (19-7) in their first home regional contest. Michael Centeno was 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs and Michael Paez had a two-run home run and also scored twice. Sunset will now travel to Killian in a 8A regional semifinal.
