Valentines day plans were put on hold Friday night when Killian and Florida Christian battled it out over 10 innings. At the plate with two outs in the top of the 10th, the Cougar’s Daniel Cumba drove in Freddy Zamora for the go-ahead run. On the other end of town darkness proved to play a role in the stoppage of an eight inning affair between Keys Gate and Palmer Trinity, resulting in a 3-3 tie. Coral Gables improved to 2-0 Friday afternoon after winning 11-1 at home over Hialeah Gardens. Check out all the scores and recaps below.
