Miami Brito’s Mauricio Amaral proved he not only can throw hard from the mound but can hit the long ball too. Going 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs, Amaral picked up the win for Brito over Miami Springs Wednesday afternoon. Remaining unbeaten, SLAM Academy and Coral Gables both got goose eggs from their respective pitching staffs. Falling a single shy of the (oh-so-hard) cycle, Matt Castrorao drove in four runs for the Mourning Senior Sharks.
