Niko Lares hit a three-run to power the Sabres.

Vladimir Nunoz combined with Frank Follaco on a no-hitter as the Cougars improved to 7-2 in 8A-16. Freddy Zamora, Joey Gonzalez and Eddy Demurias all hit home runs.

Tyler Santana pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts for the Cavaliers. Yan Carlos Hernandez and Elih Marrero each went 2-for-3 with a run. Anthony Valdes went 2-for-2 with a triple and an RBI, and Coco Montes added two hits.

Andres Fletes pitched a three-hitter with eight strikeouts to help guide the Eagles. Alfred Morejon and Rey Pastrana had hits, and Morejon drove in a run.

Felix Garcia tossed four scoreless innings for the Panthers. Carter Nash went 1-for-3 with a double and run, and Keaton Zargham added two hits. Kevin Barbato went 3-for-3 with two doubles.

Effy Vainstein pitched a two-hitter, and Manny Talavera went 2-for-3 for the Lightning. Jason Girardi added a hit and drove in a run. Ogandy's Diaz struck out eight in five innings. Gio Arriera went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. Juan Borrego went 3-for-3 with three RBIs, and Rayco Cruz went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Chris Clara went 2-for-2 and Jonathan Caratala went 1-for-1 with an RBI for the Gladiators. Jorge Alonso and Jose Gaston each went 2-for 4.

Andrew Velez improved to 6-0 as SLAM Academy broke open a tie game in the top of the sixth with two runs. Brian Frias tripled and scored twice, and Paul Castillo also tallied two runs. Jeter Downs was 1-for-2 with two runs.

Paul McIntosh and Garrett Sheffield each drove in two runs, and Nick Leal added two hits. Alex Perera struck out five.

Jacob Zarello struck out four, and Jared Walsh, Luis Aviles and Mike Acosta each had a hit and two RBIs for the Warriors

Octavio Marabal powered the Spartans with three hits, including a home run, and JP Castaneda added two hits. Joseten Heron also had a hit.

Matt Marini struck out 11 and pitched a three-hitter for the Explorers. Nelson Mompeirre went 3-for-4 with two home runs and five RBIs, and Christian Garbedian went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
