Alain Santana tossed a complete-game shutout to lead Columbus past Killian 4-0 in the GMAC championship game on Thursday. Santana struck out six and Mikey Navarrete drove in both runs for the Explorers.
Michael Mejias tossed six scoreless innings, striking out six, and Brandon Nayor went 2-for-4 with a double, home run and three RBIs to guide Westwood Christian to a 7-0 win over Ransom Everglades.
Joshua Leon recorded his eighth save of the season, and George Fernandez went 2-for-5 with a double, home run and four RBIs as LaSalle survived a slugfest with Coral Shores, winning 11-9.
