Westminster Christian rallied for four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to defeat Douglas 6-5 on Friday in the championship of the Falcons First Pitch Classic at Flanagan. Luis Aviles went 2-for-3 with an RBI, and Alvaro Valdez homered for the Warriors (3-0).

Harold Aguilera allowed three hits while striking out 15 in i-Mater’s 12-1 win over City Christian.

Anselmo Suarez pitched a complete game, allowing one earned run, and Jonathan Sanchez went 3-for-3 as Hialeah nipped Westland Hialeah 6-5.
