Highlights, Scores and Recaps for Saturday, March 12th, 2016

Westminster Christian won two games Saturday at the Jacksonville Trinity Christian Tournament. Tyler Paige wewnt 2-for-3 with three RBIs and Anthony Villar added two hits and drove in two runs in the Warriors’ 10-3 win over Bishop Verot. Jake Zarello (three RBIs), Tyler Paige (two doubles), Clinton Gulley (three runs) and Anthony Villar each had two hits as the Warriors (12-2) survived a slugfest with Trinity Christian, scoring four runs in the top of the sixth to win 11-9.

Robert Touron had two hits, but Gulliver Prep couldn’t find the spark against Sparkman and lost 6-2 in the Perfect Game High School Showdown championship in Emerson, Ga. The Raiders are 10-4.
