South Dade extended its winning streak to 14 games and knocked off 9A-16 foe Palmetto 11-2 on Saturday behind winning pitcher Chris Gomez. Gomez pitched six innings and struck out four for the Buccaneers (18-1). Alek Manoah went 5-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs, and Jhan Barrios went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. Ricardo Sobalvarro added three hits, three runs and an RBI, and Jason Rivero tripled and drove in two runs.
