HSBN Announces Partnership With The Prospect Farm

In the time since HSBN was formed back in 2010, the company has always held one value among all else. How can HSBN deliver the best coverage of high school baseball, while also providing players a path to reach their goals and dreams.

Over time, that meant partnering with other companies who’s goals and commitment were in line with HSBN.

Today, HSBN is announcing their latest partnership, with The Prospect Farm.

“Parents and players are always asking us if there is more we could do to help them get into college,” said HSBN Co-Founder Anthony Uttariello. “And while we provide a vast platform for these players to be recognized for free, there are certain areas that we have stayed out of. And that is where we look for partnerships such as The Prospect Farm, to help us deliver more to the community.”

The Prospect Farm was founded by Chema Sanchez. The early workings of the company focused on bringing scholarship opportunities to players from the US, and other International countries. This year, through the partnership with HSBN, Sanchez is focusing his efforts on the local players here in South Florida.

“Over the years, we have partnered with some of the best organizations and federations around,” said Sanchez. “This partnership with HSBN continues on that path. It is important for us to identify ourselves with first-class types of organizations to be able to continue to deliver the quality service to players and their families.”

Unlike many recruiting services, Prospect Farm does not take every potential client. They are particular in who they work with, and because of that, they have a 100% success rate in finding players opportunities to play college baseball.

The company has a broad network of colleges that they are in constant contact with, and they do much more for the players than just creating a profile.

“Chema Sanchez was the answer when it came to finding a great academic college and successful baseball program for me,” said American Heritage’s Taylor D’Agostino. “After the first day he sent out my video, I started receiving responses. Within two days, I had eight colleges showing interest. Eventually I committed to Christopher Newport University in Virginia. Mr. Sanchez was always in contact with my parents, and was always available for questions that we had about the whole process. Without Mr. Sanchez, I may not have been able to continue my dream of playing baseball in college.”

The process of finding the right college can be overwhelming for players and parents. It was early on that HSBN saw that Sanchez and the Prospect Farm understood the process thoroughly.

“We had Chema out at Media Day Weekends, talking to and educating parents,” said Uttariello. “And the response we have received from parents has been overwhelmingly positive. It was from this feedback that we decided The Prospect Farm would be a valuable partnership in our goal to help players and parents here in South Florida.”

Another difference with Sanchez and Prospect Farm is their attention to detail. Sanchez does not allow players to simply sign up for the program. Each player, and their parents, must go through a communication meeting to start with Sanchez, to ensure that there is a mutual fit, with a common goal and understanding.

“I am really pleased and impressed with the professionalism and guidance received from Chema and Prospect Farm in helping us find the right college for our son Jimmy,” said Jim Varona. “They made an easy ride of what I always thought would be a very stressful process.”

One of the best features of The Prospect Farm is their willingness to speak to, and answer questions for families trying to navigate the recruiting process, without charge up front.
