Ferguson secured the top seed in 8A District 15 by beating Braddock 4-0 on Thursday. The win gave the Falcons momentum as they’re trying to win their third consecutive district title.

The Miami Sunset Knights got an outstanding performance from pitcher Ryan Quintero and executed in the fifth to score just enough runs to beat the Braddock Bulldogs.

The Southwest Miami Eagles were able to shut down the bats of the Braddock Bulldogs on Thursday afternoon behind the arm of starting pitcher Fernando Rabel.

Braddock Bulldog David Jervis gets the win on the mound and also hits two home runs to help his team get passed the Coral Park Rams on Tuesday afternoon.

Some consider District 15-8A the most competitive in the state. Ferguson looks to win another district title, but faces rivals with high expectations.
